My mother's trick when i get a nightmare

I think this is little story about when i was child. When i was child i got a nightmare twice a week. It was very difficult for me because i was very young and i don't want to sleep so my mother think about little trick. Trick was before i sleep my mother brought one bowl water and she said something but i can't remember exactly, she said to me like: Don't worry my son this water will take your nightmare something like that. After that she song for me some song and then she kissed me and said: good night my dear today you will sleep very well
I think it is just superstition because water can't take nightmares from my mind and i believed her trick because every children i think parent's words are true also this is very cute trick so when i have a child i will try it :D
